18th International South Asian Fund Raising Workshop (18th SAFRW)
22 to 25 August, Agra "Building Relationships for Sustainability-2"
With the tremendous success of 17th SAFRW and in keeping with our promise of giving you ‘The State of the Art Fundraising Capacity Building Facility’ SAFRG brings you yet another excellent opportunity to learn, educate, inspire and motivate Fundraisers. SAFRW is becoming a leading forum for training in fundraising and local resource mobilisation where all come together to develop new approaches to important issues. It is an excellent and effective learning platform of its kind.
18th International South Asian Fundraising Workshop will be held at Jaypee Palace, Hotel & Convention Centre, Agra , from 22 to 25 Aug 2007. Leaders and fundraisers from over 350 non-profit organisations from all over Asia will attend and learn how to increase support for the causes they represent. The theme "Building Relationships for Sustainability-2" is most timely and appropriate.
Over the last decade, civil society has grown at a rapid pace to meet the needs of society. Increasing very fast too is the enormous potential of support possible. But majority of CSOs are still financially weak and lack skills and professional training in how to raise this support. Resources can be accessed through a strategy, a simple plan and trained staff. Therein lies the importance of this workshop. SAFRG believes that only systematic and quality information sharing and training for staff can bring in adequate funds, for all-round development and ultimately success of NGOs.
With an established regional reputation SAFRW, is uniquely the key forum for both training and development of local resource mobilization.
